Roosevelt Public School (RPS), a pre-kindergarten through fifth-grade school, remains the only federally designated rural district in Monmouth County. With an average class size of 12, our staff is able to create a closely-knit learning community where we focus on developing the whole child.

Our success at RPS is the result of a kind, dedicated and talented teaching staff that is committed to creating engaging and meaningful learning experiences for each child.  Whether it’s allowing the children to turn into archaeologists as they dig for fossils and inspect them under microscopes, or challenging them to share a poem publicly with all of their peers supporting them, our teaching staff constantly seeks new opportunities to challenge themselves and each other to instill a love of learning and a sense of wonder in our students.

BOARD OF EDUCATION VACANCY

The Roosevelt Board of Education is seeking a qualified candidate for membership to the Board.  The Board, within the powers delegated to it by law, is the policy-making legislative branch of the School District. This term will run until December 31, 2025.  At that time, the position will be placed on the ballot at the annual election.
